Special Projects
FareShare has a philosophy of providing people with opportunities to help rather than just seeking donations and grants for everything we need. That’s how we are able to produce our meals for 40 cents each.
At the moment we are looking for people who can help with:
- Warehouse - to help agencies as they come to Abbotsford to collect FareShare meals and other food
- Administration - to help coordinate all of our wonderful volunteers
- Upgrading kitchen floor drainage and sink food straining system to commercial kitchen specs: (i) stainless steel gutter drains on floor and (ii) food capture system for prep and dishwashing sinks
